Fisher Design Co. is the home of Graphic Designer, Marketer, and Drummer, Matt Fisher. Throughout his career, Fisher has worked with local and national brands, along with some of the biggest names in music.
History
Growing up in Cincinnati, Ohio, he learned the importance of hard work and dedication while helping his father with the family business. Fisher ventured to Ohio University, earning a BFA in Fine Arts with a focus in Sculpture and Expanded Media. After graduating, he took his talents to Columbus, Ohio, beginning his career with PromoWest Productions, one of the top independent promoters in the world. There he worked his way up from intern to Art Director, helping to promote on average 300-500 concerts annually from small clubs, arenas, and national festivals. PromoWest has since merged with AEG.
After his tenure at PromoWest Productions, Fisher moved back to the Queen City, taking up the helm of Marketing Director for Decal Impressions, a digital print and graphics company serving clients across the country.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Alexa, and their 3 dogs, Spike, Lola, & Ruby. They are also excitedly awaiting their first child this summer!
Music
Throughout his career as a designer and marketer, Fisher has continued his passion for music, performing as a drummer since he was in middle school. His music career has allowed him to perform with a multitude of groups across many genres, perform in venues across the country, and share the stage with acts both big and small, including Gin Blossoms, Fastball, Barenaked Ladies, Larry & His Flask, Cinderella, Lieutenant (featuring Nate Mendel of Foo Fighters), The Revivalists, Parlor Mob, Maylene & The Sons of Disaster, Sebastian Bach, and Mo Lowda & The Humble to name a few.
